The new fashion choices in the 2012 catalogs are very different to previous years. The new styles include spikes, shoulder pads and baggy shirts with multi colored jewelry. High spiked heels, stilettos and pumps are also included in the catalogs. The latest trend is leather, which was started in the summer (although the fabric heats up very fast). Many prints and flat materials are included. On many catwalks oversized tops and overcoats are very popular. Winter in bloom is the latest fashion choice in Vogue Magazine. 2012 is described as the diamond year, as the Queen’s Jubilee has affected the catwalks and many diamond lined dresses have become very popular. Another new fashion choice is trend trousers- the new way to wear a simple top and still send out a fashionable message. Floral printed pants and animal printed patches on multi colored pants are trend trousers. Obviously the fashion world couldn’t just leave it at that as head to toe prints are common and mix and match is also a common phrase used to describe this fashion.​

Flat materials: materials that are leveled and don’t pop out or have any  ruffles​

Winter in bloom: winter colors (dark) with flower designs, which are usually worn in the summer/spring
Head to toe prints: a multi colored multi printed outfit that is very original and eye catching
Mixed and matching: a multi colored multi printed outfit that is very original and eye catching but it is not a set, the pants/skirt can be a different color and print to the top.
